We gather to give praise and thanksgiving for the ways God has walked with us through another week. From our many homes we unite ourselves as a church called to be a family of love.

Today we are recognizing teachers and students as the new school year begins. Whether you are in the midst of returning to school routines or have grandchildren or neighbors who are, please join in praying for the transition to new routines and for a good year of learning.

July is a month of vacations, travel to visit family, hot weather, and occasional storms. Some take the opportunity for outside entertainment as well, but these opportunities also keep us away from Sunday worship. So I thank you for making time to join with us virtually. So glad you do! (My apologies for issues with our video technology this week.)

Today we conclude a 6-week series on Biblical Women of Courage. Thank you for taking this journey with us. We have learned of history and faithfulness that many have not studied before.
